How to be more flexible?

Flexibility is one of the most important characteristics that people should have in their daily life in order to succeed and achieve their goals. If you want to succeed in your life, you should always try to take some steps towards your goals and values in life. It doesn't even matter if they're just tiny steps towards your values. But, you should always be consistent & flexible in your steps. When it comes to flexibility there are three strategies, better to say beliefs, which could be adopted to help you.

1. You should always be easy-going and patient along the way to your goals to be able to adapt yourself to the environment. It is very important to behave this way when things don't work the way you desired (expected). By adapting yourself to the environment or conditions, I mean to look for the new strategies & techniques to cope with the challenges. To be more efficient coming up with the strategies, learn to always focus on the solutions instead of the problems.

2. You should always notice that nothing in life is ever achieved easily. You have to strive and be patient to achieve anything even if it is just a small thing. Nobody in history ever achieved anything in an instant without any failure. You should be prepared in advance for the probable failures on your way to your goals. In that case, you would be flexible enough to change your strategies to get what you want at the end. Never tie your entire happiness to the external short-term goals so that you don’t feel down when you face a failure.

3. You should always remember that there is no such thing as perfectionism. When you do something wrong or something that you're not satisfied with, be kind to yourself and tell yourself that no one is ever perfect.
Everyone has a weakness, even the most successful people that you picture in your mind, the important thing is to not always focus on the weakness. At least, do not make your weakness worse than it is, instead work on it to get better and focus on your strengths more often.

You don't need to get angry or frustrated whenever the things don't go your way. Take a deep breath, be positive and move on :)
